Rentals.ca leans toward purpose-built rentals and larger property managers — think whole apartment buildings with unit-by-unit availability, floor plans, and amenities listed upfront. It's a better starting point if you want a managed building over a private landlord, and its filters (parking, pet policy, in-suite laundry) are more reliable than Kijiji's because a leasing office maintains the listing.

RentFaster.ca has particularly strong coverage in Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton) and parts of British Columbia, where it competes closely with Kijiji for private-landlord listings. If you're searching outside Ontario, it's worth adding to your rotation even if you've never used it before.
